SOUTHERN WINE & SPIRITS OF SOUTH CAROLINA AWARDED 2006 HOSPITALITY SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR BY HOSPITALITY ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH CAROLINA

     MIAMI  - January 30, 2007 –  Brad Vassar, Executive Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc., the leading nationally recognized wine and spirits distributor in the United States known for its historic commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer service, creative marketing programs and partnerships, announced today that the Company’s South Carolina Division was named 2006 Hospitality Supplier of the year by the Hospitality Association of South Carolina.
     Mr. Tom Sponseller, President and CEO of the Hospitality Association of South Carolina said, “Southern Wine of Spirits South Carolina is always there in supporting the community and our industry.  From being involved in our organization on the local
and state levels, Southern shows its commitment to making sure the hospitality industry
of this state is the best it can be.” Mr. Sponselller added, “The award is a simple way of saying thank you for being one of the best in the business and making South Carolina a better place.”  Tom Collins, Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of South Carolina has been invited to accept the award on behalf of the entire Southern team, said Mr. Sponseller.
     Mr. Vassar said, “On behalf of Wayne E. Chaplin, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Harvey R.      The awards ceremony will be held on Monday, February 26 at the Embassy Suites
Hotel in Columbia, South Carolina.
