October 13, 2011, Miami, Florida - Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc. (Southern), the nation’s largest wine and spirits distributor with operations in 35 states, announces the promotions of Andrew Harman to Senior Vice President-Organizational Development and Mary Barranco to Vice President-National Director of Training. These appointments recognize Harman and Barranco’s leadership in significantly expanding Southern’s capabilities in the employee development and talent management areas. Concurrent with these promotions, Southern is presently rolling out new web-based components of Southern Wine & Spirits University (SWS-U).
